As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments for the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Portable Document Format (.pdf).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single line spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in "About the Journal".
  • After the acceptance of manuscript (before copy editing), LaTeX (.tex) version of the paper will be presented.
  • The names and email addresses of at least 4 possible reviewers have been indicated in "Comments for the Editor" box in Paper Submission First Step.

Manuscripts submitted for publication should be of high academic merit and are accepted on condition that they are contributed solely to the Journal of Modern Methods in Numerical Mathematics  (JMMNM).  Submission of a multi-authored manuscript implies the consent of all the participating authors. All manuscripts considered for publication will be peer-reviewed by independent referees. Manuscripts submitted to Journal of Modern Methods in Numerical Mathematics must include:



  • A manuscript LATEX file containing title page, abstract, keywords, contents, acknowledgments, reference list and appendices (if necessary).  The title page of this file should include the title of the article, full names and affiliations of all authors, and the name, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, and full postal address of the corresponding author.

  • A reference BiBTeX file containing all references used in the main text of the manuscript.

  • An explanation file containing the answer to reviewers comments for the revised manuscript. Authors who are instructed to revise their manuscript have to highlight all point of their responded in PDF file.


Contributors submitting manuscripts for consideration for publication should follow the following guidelines.



  • All manuscripts must be submitted via the JMMNM Online Submission System.

  • Manuscript should be separated into 2 files: 1.LaTeX file  2. BiBTeX file 3. ZIP file contains the used figures.

  • Manuscript TEX and BiBTeX  files should be created using any LaTeX software.

  • Manuscript must be written using high - quality language. For non-native English language authors, the article should be proof - read by a language specialist. Poor use of English could result in immediate rejection of the paper.

  • Manuscript should be prepared single column, double-spaced, with sufficient margins (3 cm) for editorial and proof-reader’s marks. 12 pt Times New Roman font should be used throughout and all pages numbered consecutively.

  • Abstracts should be no longer than 150 words (the additional abstract can be added by "attach file".) About 3 keywords should also be provided.

  • All measures should be reported in SI units followed if necessary, in the text, by traditional units in parentheses. The quantity “billion” (109 in America, 1012 in Europe) is ambiguous and should be avoided.

  • Tables and figures should each be numbered consecutively.

  • Line drawings should be of high resolution and high contrast. Black-and-white or color photographs may be accepted provided they are of high quality. They should also be provided as computer graphic files after the manuscript is accepted for publication and in the final form. Regardless of the application used, when the electronic artwork is finalized, the images should be saved as, or converted to, one of the following formats. (Note the resolution requirements for line drawings, halftones, and line/halftone combinations given below.)

                    EPS: Vector drawings. Embed the font or save the text as "graphics".


                    TIFF: Color or greyscale photographs (halftones): use a minimum of 300 dpi.


                    TIFF: Bitmapped line drawings: use a minimum of 1000 dpi.


                    TIFF: Combinations bitmapped line/half-tone (colour or greyscale): use a minimum of 500 dpi.



  • Acknowledgments should be as brief as possible, in a separate section before the references.

  • Citations of published literature in the text should be given in the form "[1]". All references mentioned in the Reference list must be cited in the text, and vice versa.
